Begin by sifting the matcha powder into your tea bowl or mug to ensure a smooth texture and remove any clumps.
Heat water to around 80°C (175°F) and pour it into the tea bowl or mug.
Using the bamboo whisk, gently whisk the matcha powder into the water using a back-and-forth motion (W or M shape) until it's fully incorporated and frothy.
If you like it sweet, add your preferred sweetener (eg. maple syrup, sugar) to the matcha mixture and stir until dissolved.
Heat and froth your milk, and pour it over the matcha in the bowl or mug, allowing the creamy milk to blend with the matcha.
